  • me in a dress. who would have thunk?

ok, so this will be a rather boring photo-filled summary of RDAP.

Every year my dance company travels to a different location and attends the Regional Dance America Pacific Festival.
this year, it was in Provo, Utah

and since our company pays for our travel and hotels, we went by bus, since it would be cheaper.

12 hours. on  a freaking bus.

this, of course produced some interesting pictures:

of course, I deleted the unattractive ones of myself, so I'm not in them!

oh, by the way, they got my name wrong:

I thought it was rather amusing. Is my handwriting really that awful?

so, the festival has the dancers take from 1-5 classes a day, and there are performances each night.

I did not take pictures during the classes, but here are the performance ones:

hint: I'm the one in purple :)
I apologize for the bad entry, but I am exhausted, so please bear with me.

  • udder cream and disney... not the best combo

Call me a dork, but I love Disney movies. I love them more now than I did as a kid.

the only thing is... why do disney girls always have such perfect hair?
Does that seem grossly unfair to anyone else?

Honestly, who has hair like that? Sleeping Beauty's is making me sick. And has anyone considered that Ariel's hair should not be as perfect on land as it is under water?

Maybe I'm just a little bit jealous...

Speaking of, there is a new princess coming:

Isn't she pretty? also, this will be the first interracial Disney couple!

but, I digress. Two days I went to Wal-Mart because I ran out of shampoo, and in the Band-Aid isle, I stumbled on this:

Udder Cream. Yup. For cows. And, of course, I bought it.
I have read ravings about this moisturizer, but also unfavorable reviews. So, being curious, I decided to try it out.

    The verdict:
    I love it!
It is not scented, but it has it's own scent that is very distinctive. It is also unlike any other lotion I've tried, texture-wise. It is silky, but not greasy at all.
you know when you put lotion on your hands and then try to open the door, but you can't because your hands are greasy? well, with this lotion, I opened the door. With my bare hands.

It "sinks in" right away and does some intensive moisturizing. Seriously, my feet have never been this soft before.
Even my mom likes it, since it works and is not scented!

  • short hair? or not?

lately , I've been wanting to get my hair cut short. The thing is that I have very curly hair, and I don't think that an afro would look very good on me. But I am incredibly bored with my current hairstyle.

Soooo, I need advice. This is my hair with no product in it:

and this is my hair styled normally:

here are some cute curly-haired bobs that I found that I really like:

I think the last one is gorgeous, but I don't know if it will suit me, or if my hair would look anything like that.

    Thoughts? opinions greatly appreciated, thanks!

  • I am gypsy, hear me roar!

     ROOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRR!

here are a bunch of photos from backstage Madeline!
I'm the one in the green headscarf, in case you couldn't tell.

Ta-da! I'm very sad that Madeline's over, it was a lot of fun.
